Claude Monet - Camille on Her Deathbed

I remember feeling underwhelmed by all the Monet pieces at the exhibition, until I came across this. My brother & I were looking at this upclose and we couldn’t figure out what was Monet trying to paint. It looked like a face in a snowstorm/a face with a faded body. The next night I was still thinking about this painting, and then it struck me - we had to view the painting a distance away to see that Camille is actually really lying on a bed. Mindblown.
